A Day Inside Cambodia’s Biggest Port

On 21 August 2026, NUMIC took students of International Business and International Finance to Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, one of Cambodia’s most important trade and logistics gateways.

The group was welcomed by the working group of the Marketing Department and by Administration and Human Resources. Students watched the port’s operations at work and connected what they had studied to what actually happens in logistics, trade facilitation and port management.

This is what the degree means by learning outside the classroom. Every semester classes go on site with the companies and institutions that run Cambodia’s economy, and a port is about as direct a lesson in international trade as a business student can get.
