NUMIC students compete, and they place. Some contests are hosted here in Phnom Penh, others are won on exchange thousands of kilometres away.

AIESEC Youth to Business Sandbox 2025
Team Porcupine V won with “Domnork Oil,” a venture that recycles used cooking oil. The four IB sophomores behind it: Em Pok Ponnareay, Im Ponha Niza, Leng David and Reth Khemhong.
🥈 2nd Prize
VentureInno 2026, Japan
IB junior Monin Chanbonnakmey placed second in an international SDG business-plan competition while on exchange at the University of Hyogo.

Business Model Competition
The national BMC and regional Mekong Challenge send winning student teams abroad to Europe, the USA and Asia, with cash prizes.
